Learn how to knit your first pair of colourwork mittens in this four-session workshop with Nancy MacMIllan. This is a great project if you were afraid to knit with more than one colour or you’ve always wanted to know how to knit mittens. Just in time for Christmas gift giving.

Students will learn cast on, cast off, decreasing, thumb insertion & shaping, colourwork and two handed knitting.

This workshop has four sessions.

Saturday October 31st: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Saturday November 7th: 9:00 - 11:00 am
Saturday November 14th: 2:00 - 4:00 pm
Saturday November 28th: 2:00 - 4:00 pm

Supplies: Approx 180 M each of two colours of Sport Weight yarn, 3mm circular (24mm or longer) or a set of DPNs, darning needle & stitch markers.
